Follow
the gracious winding staircase to the second floor where you will find our
three guest rooms:
Virginia's
Room, with its queen-size bed and plenty of room to stretch out. Its
spacious bathroom features a double whirlpool tub to help soothe those tired
muscles and carry away the week's stress. Listen to the amazing sounds from
the Bose radio/cd player while you relax.

Or, perhaps Annie's Room, with its own blue and white
cozy charm, a queen-size bed, and private bath with tub/shower.
Annie's room features
a TV/VCR, phone, fluffy robes and two side chairs.
Maybe Chris' Room, with its queen-size bed and working
fireplace, a Bose radio/cd player,
and a renovated bathroom with double size
shower
just a few steps away is the right choice for you…
All three rooms have high ceilings with fans and are kept cozy in the colder
months with old-time hot-water radiators. In the warmer months, open the
cross-ventilating windows for those fresh Shenandoah Valley breezes, or opt
for individually controlled air conditioners.
All of our rooms are supplied with: a hair dryer, clock radio, fluffy terry-cloth bathrobes,
high speed wireless internet connections for your laptop and a cable-fed TV so you can stay in
touch with the outside world … if you really want to. An iron and ironing
board are available, and if you can't think of anything else you'd rather do,
there's a library of video tapes you can view on your room's TV/VCR.
And
also available, manicures and/or pedicures a la carte. Ashley Sullivan from Split Ends Hair Design brings all
the fixings to your room for a delightful experience. For a special
treat, Ashley has developed a champagne and rose petal pedicure that is
fantastic. Just ask us to set your appointment when you make your
reservation, 24 hours advance notice, please.
No
matter which room you choose,
you're going to be happy you stayed at The
Lost Dog.

"Every now and then go away, have a
little relaxation, for when you come back to your work your judgment will be
surer, since to remain constantly at work will cause you to lose power of
judgment.
Go some distance away because then the
work appears smaller, and more of it can be taken in at a glance, and any lack of
harmony or proportion is more readily seen."
